Jake's Orange Tree

Jake my grandson (the one and only grandchild) will be 8 months old on the 15th. Some friends of ours, Larry and Barbara gave him an orange tree when he was born. Here is Jake with the 2 little green oranges on his tree. The poor tree needs a support to keep the little limb up.

Mother's Birthday Quilt

Here is a picture of my mother's 80th birthday quilt. I finished it a day before her 81st birthday. It has 80 signature blocks and everyone has had fun hunting their block.

Red and Aqua

Two of my favorite colors. I have collected red kitchenware for years. My laundry room is painted a shade of aqua. My new sewing room will be aqua. I even have a red sofa, so when I saw a blog post about a red and aqua swap I new I had to participate. You can join in too just click on the link on the sidebar.
